![]() ![]() Those animations despite their length gives you the player information that you got something good and makes the game feel more alive then what you get in Rise. Adding in exploration and grinding(Despite it's tedious) gives the game more challenges and adding characteristics towards that grind makes that grind less of mundane experience. If monster hunter becomes similar to a game like FF13, you wouldn't have anything to do other then fighting monsters over and over until you get sick of it. no, and then they gave us 2 sequels to it. Do you think anybody who was a fan of that series enjoyed that game. so when FF13 came around they decided, "Well everyone plays the game for the story"(which is the reward in those games)"Lets just remove all of that and give people what they want" and what did we get, a long boring game in which majority of was fanservice and hand-holding. Exploration in a game can get you lost, grinding takes too long, and combat can be difficult. ![]() For the first 12 Games we mostly had every aspect of each. Exploration, Grinding, Mini-games, Story, and Combat.
